The path from an original proving symptom to its place in the Materia Medica or in the Repertory is a long one. Often the prover’s words had - and still have - to be translated, thus presenting the first step of possible difficulties.

Furthermore, the symptom described was often ‘pressed’ into a more suitable form, on the one hand to shorten the symptom - on the other hand to use a broader expression, which would include a variety of symptoms which later on could be easier found in the rubrics of the repertories.

In the old times many texts were translated from German to English, mainly by a handful of translators who did enormous work. Errors always happened - and still happen today.
Therefore I want to nail down the errors I happen to meet on my homoeopathic way - and I hope some of you will benefit from it.
